This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are, how Salesforce Development Studio ("we," "us") uses them on our Sites, and what choices you have. It supplements our Cookie Policy.
01 What are cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They allow the site to remember preferences and to collect information about how you use the site. Similar technologies — such as localStorage, sessionStorage, and pixel tags — work in comparable ways. For simplicity, we refer to all of these as "cookies" in this policy.
02 How we use cookies
We use cookies sparingly and only for purposes we believe a reasonable visitor expects. We do not use cookies for advertising, retargeting, or to build behavioral profiles of individual visitors across the web.
04 Third-party cookies
A small number of cookies may be set by the underlying infrastructure services we use (hosting, edge security, and analytics). These third parties operate under their own privacy policies, which take precedence over ours in respect of the data they collect.
03 Cookies we use
Our cookies fall into two functional categories: those strictly necessary for the site to operate (theme preference storage, anti-spam protection on the contact form), and those used for aggregate, non-identifying traffic measurement.
Strictly-necessary cookies and storage cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality. Analytics cookies, where set at all, load only after explicit consent in jurisdictions requiring it, and aggregate data without identifying individuals. Specific cookie names and their lifetimes are available on written request via the contact channel listed in §07.
05 Managing cookies
You can control cookies in several ways:
- Cookie banner — when you first visit a Site in a jurisdiction that requires consent, you will see a banner allowing you to accept or reject analytics cookies. You can revisit this choice via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
- Browser settings — all major browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. See your browser's privacy documentation for instructions.
- Do Not Track — we honor the DNT browser signal where supported. When DNT is enabled, we do not load analytics cookies.
Blocking all cookies will not affect the core function of the Sites — the forms, navigation, and content will continue to work normally.
